Children experiencing a transformation schema are interested in changing how things look, including themselves.
What it might look like:
- mixing all of the different colors of play dough together
- adding milk to their mashed potatoes
- mixing every color of paint together
- dressing up in costumes
- mixing "potions"

- Add old pots and pans to your outdoor play area for kids that want to mix potions and other creations
- Use water and food color for indoor potion mixing
- Lead cooking activities with your children
- Study the lifecycle of a butterfly and buy a butterfly kit
- Invite children to help prep snack

- Experiments with the different phases of water (solid, liquid, gas)
