This can be a fun activity to practice shape and letter recognition. Have a child sit with their back to you. You will use your finger to trace a shape on their back. They will try to identify what shape you traced.

Take turns and let the child try tracing on your back.

Possible Extensions:

• For more advanced children you can incorporate letters and numbers into what you trace.
• Invite children to trace on each other's backs. This requires some really good coordination and communication between them.
