Location: indoor or outdoor

Materials: magazines, paper, glue, scissors

Keep your old (kid appropriate) magazines and catalogs around for an any-time activity that will give your kids the chance to practice their scissor skills.

Simply set out a few old magazines and invite your kids to cut images out of them and glue them to their paper. You can encourage them to cut things based on a theme (ex: food, favorite things, body parts, etc.), or just let them cut whatever catches their eye.
